  • Genealogy microfilm from the Family History Library costs $7.50 per reel and may be paid with a credit card, a debit card, or PayPal.

How long does it take?

This depends on the location of the lender.  On average, a week to 10 days for loans filled from local public libraries, and 10 days to 3 weeks for out-of-area lenders, such as university or non-California libraries.

Can I track the progress of my request?

Yes, by logging on to your Interlibrary Loan account and viewing your Outstanding Requests.

How will I know when my materials arrive?

You will be notified as soon as your ILL materials are ready for pickup based on the preference you provided.  If you have not received a notification, the materials have not arrived at PVLD.
