When looking at a person, everyone usually notices a physical appearance first, whether it's their hair, skin, clothes or even faces. Everyone looks at each other with different perspectives or angles. But once you look at someone as a whole you realize not everyone is that different.

Sometimes our true identity is blocked by our social image. We censor ourselves to fit in, but in reality, our inner mind shines bright.

STATEMENT:"

In the modern age of technology, other people's opinions seem to have a great affect on an individual's identity, character and personality. The world is always moving and society doesn't always wait for someone to figure out their identity. When an individual is influenced by other people's opinions, they often change to fit the description others give them. In a show about opposites, this photo gives light to how calm we all may look on the outside, when in reality, we never know what's going on in someone else's head and we never truly know how large of an impact our words can have on others.

We've created a government/society to represent freedom, liberty and justice. These days it feels like we are fighting for our choices, the opposite of what America was built on. I am trying to capture the importance of the way this country has changed. Yes, it has changed in many ways positively, but it seems like for women, America is taking steps backwards. Women are getting laws put on their own bodies, when the people who decide on these laws are mostly men.
