Borrowing Electronic Equipment from PVLD

What Can You Borrow?

Chromebook

  • Chromebooks
  • Tablets
  • Mobile Hotspots
  • Flip-Pal photo scanners

How to Borrow

  1. Place a hold on a device.
  2. Only one of each type per person.
  3. You can keep it for up to 3 weeks.
  4. Renew up to 3 times. After that, return it so we can review it. If no one else is waiting, you can borrow it again.
  5. Show your PVLD Library card and a photo ID with your current address. If they don't match, bring proof of your address.
  6. Only adults (14 or older) can borrow. Make sure you don't have any unpaid fines.

Taking Care of Borrowed Equipment

  • When you borrow, you promise to pay if it's lost, stolen, damaged, or late.
  • Return devices in person. Don't put them in the book drop; they might break.
  • If a device is 30 days overdue, we'll consider it lost and bill you the full cost.
