How Green is My Peninsula? The Facts of Going Green

Learn the Facts of Going Green--The Palos Verdes Library District, co-sponsored by the PVP American Association of University Women, The League of Women Voters, and Peninsula High School present, How Green is My Peninsula? The Facts of Going Green at 6:30pm on Tuesday, May 13 in the Peninsula Center Library Community Room. Please join us for this special program on environmental sustainability within your community developed by the Land Use Committee of the League of Women Voters of Palos Verdes Peninsula/San Pedro. Learn what steps you can take to Go Green and how each family can make a difference. Representatives from the South Bay Energy Savings Center, the City of Santa Monica, and Peninsula High School will be speaking waste reduction, reuse, one’s ecological footprint, and more. This program is free and open to the public. No registration is necessary. The Peninsula Center Library is located at 701 Silver Spur Road in Rolling Hills Estates.
