Full-time Employees

Holidays: (7 days)
New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Vacation:  2 weeks after 1 year of employment.  3 weeks after 4 years; 4 weeks after 10 years

Sick Leave:  96 hours per year (accrued at 8 hours per month)  Sick leave in exchange for vacation

Personal Holiday Leave:  56 hours per year

Bereavement:  5 days per year

Jury Duty: Up to 5 days per year

Compensation for Additional Hours Worked

Medical, Dental, Vision: Full-Time employees need to check the current MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) SEIU Local.

Retirement: Public Employees Retirement System Tier I - 2% @ 55 for employees hired on or after 12/30/2012, classic members defined by CALPERS. Tier II - 2% @ 62 for new employees hired on or after January 1, 2013, who are new members. The term "new member" is defined by the Public Employees' Pension Reform Act of 2012.

Part-time Salaried Employees (18.5 Hours per week)
