The last local history article in the PV News (July 30) mentioned a company called Nortronics which was located on Crest Road between Hawthorne and Crenshaw.
The 50 acre Nortronics complex, was designed by architect, Charles Luckman, famous for Madison Square Garden in New York, the manned space center in Houston, and closer to home, Marineland, the LAX Theme Building, and the Los Angeles Zoo.
The beautifully landscaped site included six low profile buildings set back from the street and even included a lake.
